The Conclusion of 3 Debates on Islam and Terrorism

Thus far, We have conducted three debates on the topic of 'Islam and Terrorism' with the following three Evangelical Christians:

Debate #1: Craig "Wipe the infidels out to the last" Winn

Debate #2: Dr. Ergun Caner

Debate #3: Sam "The Sham" Shamoun

These Evangelicals have become famous for promoting the view that Islam endorses terrorism or killing all infidels who do not convert to Islam. Therefore people like Osama Bin Laden are only faithfully following the teachings of their religion. These individuals became very useful in the massive propaganda war waged by the Evangelical church against Islam. Each of these individuals played a key role, in probably one of the most well-organized and well-financed propaganda campaigns ever launched, as their hateful message beamed into the homes of millions of people.

Countless media interviews, guest appearances on nationally syndicated shows across America, and authoring books about the 'gloom and doom' of Islam making the NY Times bestseller list. The tremendous Nazi-like propaganda campaign seemed to be in full swing, that is until disaster struck - Islamic challenge to debate. The desire for the public to get the whole truth, rather than cherry picked verses pulled out of context, prompted all three Evangelical propagandists to come to the debate table to be confronted regarding their allegations against Islam.

Yet... in spite of all the radio/television interview, best seller books on the shelves of Border book stores, and hundreds of articles flooding the internet, not a single one of the Evangelical Christians were able to show any proof to back up their claim that Islam promotes terrorism. Rather, they all were all terribly humiliated as their lies and deception were debunked one by one in front of the American audience. Here are the grizzly details of each debate:

Debate #1: Craig "Wipe the infidels out to the last" Winn vs.Jalal Abdualrub. In spite of conducting over 10,000 hours in the scholarly study of the religion of Islam, Craig Winn was not able to produce a single statement from the Quran or the teachings of Prophet Muhammed(P) which condones the killing of innocent civilians or the genocide of "infidels" who do not embrace Islam. When cornered by Jalal on this point, the nervous Craig Win blurted out the following:

at 33 minutes and 45 seconds Craig Winn stated:

"wipe the infidels out to the last (background laughter)... wipe the people out to the last... you have to kill everyone of them... that's the 8th surah "

Of course, no such verse exists in Chapter 8 of the Quran. This was a case of blatant lying. That his how Craig Winn earned the nick name, “Wipe the infidels out to the last!”.

Debate #2: Dr. Ergun Caner vs. Nadir Ahmed. Ergun Caner, became world famous for his attacks against Islam. So much so, that the late Rev. Jerry Falwell appointed him as the Dean of Liberty University. However, when challenged to debate, Caner realized his error..., he ended the debate with following conclusion on his website:

"Islam does not demand the death of all infidels, but does prescribe violence against the infidels in certain circumstances, but at anytime during the violence, the Muslim should work hard to try to broker a peace with the infidel, even if it will entail a great sacrifice. But, at no time are innocent civilians to be targeted in that violence."

Debate #3: Sam "The Sham" Shamoun vs. Nadir Ahmed. Is Islam a religion of peace? Going into this most recent debate... Shamoun knew the score - tons of Evangelical dollars have been invested into think-tanks and researchers from all over the world, yet none could find anything in Islam which supports terrorism or killing of "infidels". But rather, Islam actually did address these issues and clearly condemned it! Bad news for Pastor George Saieg (ministrytomuslims.com) who carved out a career for himself by promoting these views. This was very bad news. Pastor Saieg stated to me that he will personally call Dr. Ergun Caner to correct his “error”, and that the debate will prove that Islam promotes terrorism as he stated in his pre-debate interview:

But unfortunately for George no such this happened. In the debate, I clearly presented the evidence from the Quran and Sunnah, which condemned terrorism or killing anyone just because they are “infidels” and Shamoun just ignored the it, and would not address the topic of terrorism throughout the debate!

I guess this was Sam Shamoun’s deceptive way of telling Pastor George Saieg that in spite of all the research conducted, we are not able to refute the evidence in the Quran which condemns terrorism or killing infidels. Why didn’t he just sit George down before the debate and level with him? Why don’t these guys just be honest and come forward admit the truth: Islam condemns terrorism? Well, now I think we can all see the purpose of these three debates, to get at the truth about Islam, which the Evangelicals do not want to admit.
