Tricks: The unfair terms of the debate I was forced to accept

For
those who have listen to the previous debates between me and Shamoun, they have
witnessed how Sam
“The Sham” Shamoun was humiliated and exposed very badly in the debate, What The Quran says about the Bible, (corrupt or uncorrupt)?
The merciless Surah 4:157 flogging of Shamoun in the cross-examination period
made debate history.
For the L.A.
debate, MinstryToMuslims.com took special precautions to make sure that such a
flogging session does not take place again. Inititially, MinstryToMuslims.com
promised a fair debate, one in which we both can work together to agree on
rules, format, time and moderating – one Muslim moderator and one Christian
moderator. Upon this, Islamic Center of Peoria as well as others agreed.
However as the agreed upon debate date approached, MinstryToMuslims.com did an
abrupt turn and declared that they will determine all the rules. Thus,
ExamineTheTruth.com will have absolutely no say so in anything! That’s
right... this means that MinstryToMuslims.com would dictate all terms to me,
and I would not be allowed to have any input in how the debate should be
conducted. The rules and format will be crafted around Sam Shamoun’s dictates.
And of course, Shamoun made sure to remove all cross-examination “flogging”
periods from the debate. George Saieg made it clear, that it is only on these
terms they can proceed with the debate.
To add misery to insult, MinstryToMuslims.com was avoiding the phones for
weeks, and the Muslims were getting frantic – airline tickets were now at over
$400.00+ to Los Angeles
and many of the Muslims were planning to fly in their families to attend the
event. For example, I asked Dr. Sabeel Ahmed to be the Muslim moderator,
and he was waiting to purchase airline tickets but I would tell him – not yet.
Because I was initially refusing to agree to such ridiculous terms of debate
proposed by MinstrytoMuslims.com and I was hoping these guys would come to
their senses and be fair. I even hid this fact from Islamic
Center of Peoria, because I knew they would not allow this debate to
take place under such ridiculous terms. Well, later on George Saeig informed me
of one more piece of bad news – there will no Muslim moderator allowed. They
have selected the moderator, and of course, ExamineTheTruth.com will have no
say so in this choice.
Let’s pause for a second – you might be
wondering, “What fool would agree to such terms!!!”. Well… I would say that I
am that fool. Because it was obvious that their actions were a clear sign of
desperation and fear and I will not allow them to get away with their crime. I
then individually called Dr. Sabeel Ahmed and all the other supporters to
cancel their plans to fly into Los
Angeles and attend the event. They of course warned me
DO NOT PROCEED WITH THIS DEBATE!
In conclusion, I packed my bags and headed out
alone, as there was not a single person to support me… and alhumdulilah, after
the debate, I can honestly say that I made the right decision. I have contacted
George Saieg of MinistrytoMuslims.com to please correct me if he feels I have
any stated anything which he disagrees with or not factual. Thus far, he has not
disputed any fact nor provided any correction.
