Dr. Robert Morey:
Liar, Lunatic, or Lord?

In the past, Dr. Robert Morey of www.faithdefenders.com was known for his
radical views of indorsing Christians to bomb the Muslim city of Mecca in Saudi
Arabia (so much for Christianity being peaceful and loving), and of spinning
the infamous Moon God Theory which was easily refuted here. Because of his extremist views against
Islam, he has been embraced by many fanatical Evangelical Christian groups.
Right of the bat, I know what many people are thinking, that is,
I’m out to show Robert Morey is a liar because of his attacks against the
religion of Islam. Therefore, to silence this argument, If Dr. Robert Morey can
prove my evidence as false by showing that his statements against Islam are
true, I will offer him CASH awards, paid in U.S. dollars. I would like
to make it very clear from the beginning, that I would never accuse anyone of
being a liar, unless I have the hard evidence to back up what I am saying.
Unfortunately, in the case of Dr. Robert Morey, not only am I claiming he is a
liar, but I am will also be demonstrating that he is a pathological liar. Because this is a physical
condition, I would request all the readers of this article to refrain from
delivering any speech with the intent of insulting Dr. Robert Morey or
devaluing him in anyway. Rather, what he needs is help, from people who care or
have empathy for his condition.
Before, I issue my challenges and CASH awards, let us
take a look at what some of Robert Morey’s fellow Christian apologists has to say about his work, www.apologeticsindex.org
states:
"However, though Robert Morey
has produced some good material, his methodology does not always reflect sound
scholarship."
"Waleed Nassar - founder of
Great Commission Ministries International (a ministry that, among other things,
trains Christians for ministry to Muslims) - critiques ''Islamic
Invasion'' (in an appendix to his book, ''Muslims, Untouchable or
Reachable?''"
"Nassar notes ''six
different types of blunders'' in Morey's book, ranging from ignorance of the
teachings of Islam to misconceptions, misrepresentations, biases and
disparaging remarks."
"He made false and
ignorant accusations, and tried to justify them by misquoting texts from
the Quran, quoting others without regard to their context, and bluntly
misinterpreting and distorting others still!"
Even one of the most notorious Islam bashers, Daniel
Pipes, has to say this about Robert Morey:
"The contents of Morey's book
are familiar from many previous
Christian polemics against Islam-a
dubious look at the Prophet
Muhammad's life, at Islamic theology,
and at Muslim history-but
the intent is different. In bygone
eras, such a study would have
had a missionary purpose; now, as the
title and subtitle both imply,
it is defensive. Christians no longer
expect to take their faith to the
Muslims but fear conversions of their own to Islam. The back cover asks,
"As mosques appear across the
country, people are asking - 'What do I need
to know about Islam?'"
Ok, enough said, now let us get to the challenges and CASH

So because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard. They change the words from their (right) places and have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them. And you will not cease to discover deceit in them, except a few of them. But forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds). Verily, Allâh loves AlMuhsinűn (gooddoers - see V.2:112). (Al-Ma'idah 5:13)
Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really)
love Allâh then follow me (i.e. accept Islâmic Monotheism, follow the Qur'ân
and the Sunnah), Allâh will love you and forgive you of your sins. And
Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Aali Imran 3:31)

This is referring where you point to while relieving yourself.
There is no such teaching in Islam which instructs Muslims to point towards
Jerusalem, this is pure fabrication.

#3:
"And I do admit I’m an infidel, Im an unbeliever, make no
mistake about it,then they say,FATWA! FATWA! FATWA! which is death in Arabic, I
said I’m from New York I grew up with death threats lets go on…"

Fatwa does not mean death in Arabic. There is not a single
Arabic dictionary or vernacular which carries this definition. Again, this is
pure fabrication.

"If a fly falls in your cup one wing has poison but the other
wing as the antidote so drink it with the fly…."

The hadeeth which Dr. Robert Morey is referring to DOES NOT
teach "drink it with the fly". This is a pure concoction, rather the
hadeeth states:
Volume 4, Book 54, Number 537:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said "If a house fly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease."

#5:
"The only hope of paradise is that they murder someone in the
name of Jihad and are killed in the process, what a horrible situation, we feel
their pain, they need the Savior…."

There are multiple lies in this statement, which can be
uncovered, but for now, I will only address Dr. Robert Morey’s false claim of
the only way to paradise is by ‘murdering’ in Jihad:
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 600:
Narrated Anas:
I heard the Prophet saying, "On the Day of Resurrection I will intercede and say, "O my Lord! Admit into Paradise (even) those who have faith equal to a mustard seed in their hearts." Such people will enter Paradise, and then I will say, 'O (Allah) admit into Paradise (even) those who have the least amount of faith in their hearts." Anas then said: As if I were just now looking at the fingers of Allah's Apostle.
In conclusion, this by no means is an exhaustive list of all the
fabrications and lies told by this Evangelical Christian, Dr. Robert Morey, nor
is this the first time Christian Missionaries have resorted to distorting and misrepresenting the religion of
Islam. We hope and pray that Dr. Robert Morey does not run from this challenge
rather, confront it head on. We at ExamineTheTruth.com will work with Dr. Morey
